Privacy Notice

Who we are

What we collect
- What you give us: your first name and email address. If you choose: your mobile number, whether you want marketing texts, and your answers to our “what should we give away next?” question.
- Your list record: whether you’ve confirmed your email, your invite code, who invited you, which friends joined through your link, and your reserved bonus.
- How you found us: the ad or link you came from (campaign tags in the web address) and the page you landed on.
- Anti-abuse signals: your IP address and browser identifier, which we store only as scrambled, salted hashes. We use them to limit sign-ups and to spot one person signing up many times, not to track you.
- Cookies: two first-party cookies that remember you on this browser so you can see your bonus without logging in. No advertising cookies are set by this page.
How we use it
- To run the list and the waitlist bonus, and to apply your bonus when we launch.
- To send you emails about the launch and your bonus. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- If you verify your mobile: to confirm it’s really yours, to reach you quickly if you win, and to text you only if you opted in to texts (reply STOP to stop).
- To decide which vehicles to give away, using survey answers.
- To prevent fraud and enforce the Waitlist Bonus Terms.
- To understand which ads and links bring people to the list.
Who sees it
- Service providers that work for us under contract: email delivery, text-message verification, our email and SMS platform, hosting and database, and at launch our store platform.
- The friend who invited you sees your first name and whether you’ve confirmed. People you invite see your first name on your invite page.
- Advertising platforms: we may share a hashed (scrambled) copy of your email with platforms such as Meta, to measure our ads and to avoid showing you ads for a list you’ve already joined. Some state laws call this “sharing”. To opt out, email us. [Confirm whether this will be used.]
- We don’t sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
Until 12 months after launch, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first, except where we need to keep a record longer (for example, a record that you unsubscribed, or records related to a prize). [Retention period to confirm.]
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from any email. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of sharing for advertising. Email hello@motorprints.com and we’ll respond within the time the law requires. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
The list is for adults. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
